With flat vacuum cups, also known as flat suction cups, you can reliably handle products with #flat or #large surfaces. Thanks to their low inherent volume, fast cycle times can be realised – perfect for highly dynamic systems.
Thanks to their geometry, our flat suction pads offer lateral stability during suction and positioning accuracy when depositing the workpieces. Additional support ribs in the vacuum cup ensure even greater lateral stability and prevent flexible products from being sucked in and the vacuum cup from slipping during high acceleration.
Bellows vacuum cups, also known as bellows suction cups, are particularly suitable for #sensitive materials or products with #uneven surfaces due to their gentle positioning. Bellows suction pads are very flexible and can adapt to the shape of the workpiece.
They enable easy height and angle compensation for variable product surfaces and lift the product as soon as the vacuum is switched on.
The more folds the vacuum cup has, the greater the lifting movement and thus the height levelling. However, lateral stability is reduced with the number of folds.
Bellows vacuum cups are preferably recommended for purely vertical handling tasks, for example in packaging lines, automotive production, assembly processes, the food industry or electronics production.
Their versatility and ability to avoid vacuum losses make them an ideal solution in many automated production processes.
Oval and rectangular vacuum cups are suitable for #elongated or cylindrical workpieces with #confined spaces (e.g. mouldings, profiles, tubes, bolts).
They are also suitable for curved workpieces and products with webs.
Oval vacuum cups offer significantly better suction power compared to round vacuum cups of the same width.
We offer various special designs, such as Bernoulli vacuum cups. These generate the vacuum from compressed air according to the Bernoulli principle and enable low-contact and torsion-resistant transport of sensitive products. The operating principle allows extremely thin, air-permeable and sensitive workpieces (e.g. wafers in the photovoltaic and semiconductor industries) to be handled.
Felt-coated vacuum cups are also available for handling hot products, such as glass, without leaving marks.
Our range even includes hand grippers that allow manual handling of airtight flat surfaces without generating a vacuum.
